How do I set my combination?

ALWAYS set your combination with the door OPEN before installing. See the Combi-Cam instruction card included with your safe.

What if I forget my code or lose my keys?

Contact us at morgan@citadelsafes.com or call (830) 857-5250 with your order number. We can assist with lockout recovery for registered owners.

Do I need special tools to install?

No — a basic socket set and possibly a Torx bit (depending on vehicle) are all you need. Everything attaches to factory mounting points.

Will this affect my USB ports or cup holders?

Console safes sit in the storage bin compartment. On most models, USB ports and cup holders remain fully accessible. Check your specific model's fitment notes.

Is it fire-rated or waterproof?

Citadel safes are designed as theft-deterrent units. They are not fire-rated or waterproof. For fire protection, consider a separate fire safe for documents.

What's the warranty process?

If your safe has a manufacturing defect, contact us with your order details and photos. We'll evaluate and replace under our Lifetime Replacement Warranty.
